Kernow Healing Sanctuary

Community

The sanctuary is the people in it

Circles, garden days, sound evenings and seasonal ceremonies, open to anyone, whether or not you ever book a retreat.

Open door

You do not need to be on a retreat to belong here

Much of what happens at the sanctuary happens between retreats, in the garden, around the fire, on the floor of the sound room. All of it is open, and all of it is small by design.

Sound Evenings

Monthly, new moon

Sound Evenings

An open evening in the sound room, bowls, gong and drum, blankets on the floor. Ten places, first come.

Women's Circle

First Sunday

Women's Circle

Held, unhurried space, especially for women who spent years giving it to everyone else. No obligation to speak.

Men's Circle

Third Thursday

Men's Circle

Honest conversation on the clifftop, without performance or armour.

Garden Days

Every other Saturday

Garden Days

Hands in soil. Plant, weed, prune and share lunch. The healing garden is grown by the people who use it.

Tea & Talk

Weekly, Wednesday

Tea & Talk

Herbal infusions above the valley and an open table. Come with nothing to bring.

Seasonal Gatherings

Solstice, equinox, harvest

Seasonal Gatherings

Gentle ceremony at the Star Stone to mark the turning of the year, followed by fire and food.

Ways in

Four ways to be part of it

Come to a circle

Everything on this page is open to newcomers. Arrive as you are; leave when you need to.

Volunteer a day

Garden, kitchen, paths and fences. Give a day, take a meal and a seat by the fire.

Sponsor a place

Fund a retreat place for someone who could not otherwise come. Quietly, anonymously.

Share the work

Practitioners, musicians and makers, bring your craft to a gathering.
