Beach Fire and Sea
Fire and water do not cancel each other out. Taken together in the same evening they do something to the nervous system that neither manages alone.
The day itself
We meet at the cove and go into the sea first, however far you want to go, even if that is ankles. Cold water first means the fire lands differently.
Then the fire, built from driftwood on the sand, close enough to the tideline that you can hear both. Blankets, hot drinks, and no agenda beyond staying until the stars come out.
There is a short circle if the group wants one, and there often is once people are warm. We leave the beach cleaner than we found it.
