Forest Bathing
Shinrin-yoku, done properly: three hours to cover four hundred metres, and a nervous system that comes back different.
The day itself
A series of gentle invitations, to notice movement, texture, sound, scent, with long silences between them.
We close with a tea ceremony made from what the hedgerow is offering that week.
Rhythm of the day
- 09:00 Arrival tea
- 09:30 Threshold and first invitation
- 11:00 Sit spot, twenty minutes alone
- 12:00 Hedgerow tea ceremony
- 13:00 Close
